Natural Methods To Combat Wrinkles Around The Eyes

From sunflower oil to papaya, what are the natural methods to prevent or smooth out the appearance of the so-called “crow’s feet.” Always remember that the watchword is: moisturize.

They are the unmistakable sign of the passing of time, and, for this reason, they are one of the significant aesthetic concerns that men (yes, they too) and women have. I’m talking about the wrinkles that develop around the eyes, or more precisely in the outer corners of the eyes, what is commonly referred to as “crow’s feet.”

Crow’s feet are nothing more than expression lines, caused by the mimic muscles of the face on the skin of the face. Not being able (rightly) to block facial expressions in everyday life, you can work on some good habits to keep the skin more hydrated and toned than ever, starting from the youngest age. The first step is to follow a healthy and balanced diet, drink water regularly throughout the day, and always practice physical activity.

Not only. Even the beauty routine has its dictates. Every evening, clean your skin with a mild cleanser and always use a  moisturizer appropriate for your skin type. And then there are a whole host of things not to do, like smoking, overdoing alcohol, and exposing yourself to UV rays without sunscreen and sunglasses. If prevention is essential, once the “crow’s feet”(wrinkles) have appeared, you can try to smooth them out with some natural methods, always remembering that the watchword is: moisturize.

Honey, Lemon, And Sunflower Oil

Get some honey, lemon, and sunflower oil. In a bowl, put a spoonful of honey, add a few drops of lemon and just enough sunflower oil to make the mixture creamy enough to be applied to the face. However, the secret of this mask is the temperature: it must be distributed on the front or on the areas to be treated warmly. Leave on for 30 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Egg Whites

Another natural method to reduce crow’s feet is egg white with a moisturizing and firming effect. In this case, you have to work the egg white with a fork until it is very liquid, then apply it around the eyes and at any point in the face area most prone to the formation of crow’s feet. Leave on until you feel the egg white has dried, and then rinse with warm water. To remove any residual egg white, help with a cotton swab moistened with warm water.

Rice And Lemon Oil

Suppose the lemon essential oil can reduce bags and dark circles by adding pure rice oil. In that case, you will get a very moisturizing effect suitable for the delicate eyelid area—a natural method to be included in the weekly routine to have an intense and rested look.

Papaya

It provides vitamin C, and for this reason, it should be used for skincare. I’m talking about papaya, which, thanks to the high content of this precious vitamin for the skin, helps counteract the free radicals that attack collagen; moreover, the papain contained in this exotic fruit performs an exfoliating action that can reduce wrinkles.

To make a papaya-based mask, get a bowl and work the pulp of this fruit into it, crushing it and mixing it until you get a creamy consistency. At this point, you can apply the mixture to the area affected by wrinkles using a spatula or a brush. Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse your face with warm water.

Wheat Germ Oil And Rosehip Oil

To smooth out expression lines, an exemplary method is also to support the elasticity of the epidermis. In this regard, using oil is always a good idea. Mix a few drops of wheat germ oil with drops of rosehip oil: you can use them directly on the skin or prepare a nourishing mask, adding three or four tablespoons of oatmeal or rice. Leave for about a quarter of an hour and then rinse with warm water.
