Air pollution, stress, and psychophysical conditions significantly affect the health of our hair, making it dry, dull, and without vitality. Therefore, treating them with the proper care is necessary to regain their natural beauty and the splendor they deserve.
How To Make The Hair Shiny
It is unnecessary to buy many products and spend unnecessary money because hair can be treated satisfactorily using “poor” ingredients to obtain effective results. We have at home and which we use daily for other purposes. Let’s see together how to make hair shiny:
- Diet is the first step to having beautiful hair to look at. Consume foods that contain antioxidants and proteins, such as fish, eggs, and legumes, and remember to drink a lot.
- If the hair is dehydrated and therefore quite dry, get the white yogurt without sugar (for example, the Greek one) and distribute it over the entire length of the hair; then, wrap the hair in the kitchen film until the yogurt has dried; after about half an hour, you are ready to rinse and wash with a mild shampoo.
- Another remedy involves the use of vinegar. Wash your hair with your usual shampoo and don’t apply conditioner; then rinse them with a solution consisting of one cup of vinegar and one cup of water, leaving it to act for a quarter of an hour. After fifteen minutes, wash with warm water until you eliminate the vinegar smell, and then comb your hair, which will be soft. The vinegar is detangling, cleansing, and has an antibacterial action.
- For shiny hair, use rosemary. Heat the equivalent of a cup of water in a saucepan; when it boils, remove it from the heat and infuse two tablespoons of chopped rosemary for a few hours. After the necessary time, filter the liquid with a little mesh strainer and use the infusion to make the last rinse at the end of the shampoo. The hair will become shiny, and the black reflections will be accentuated: therefore, this remedy is unsuitable for those with light hair.
- If you want shiny hair, you can also try two tablespoons of castor oil, coconut oil, and five drops of rosemary essential oil. Mix all the ingredients to form a cream applied to the hair, especially on the usually drier ends. Then wrap your head in a damp towel and hold on for fifteen minutes (or even a whole night, if that’s not difficult). Then rinse well: the result is excellent.
- An excellent remedy to make hair shine is also pure linseed oil, which can be purchased in herbal medicine and spread on dry hair after styling to give it shine.
- Eggs are also for you. Take two, separate the yolks from the whites, setting the latter aside. Then cover the reds with olive oil and mix with a whisk. At this point, wash your hair with warm water and then apply the mixture over the damp hair; let it act for about 5 minutes and, finally, rinse with cold water: you will have shiny and deeply hydrated hair.
